Well worth a do. If you are fishing the one in Gypsy's photo then get there early and fish the far bank. There is a channel through the lilies where you could stick one rod out for the biggies and then maybe fish float for the crucians and chub.

Good luck. Take plenty of different baits and swap when they stop biting. Bread is banned. If you want to fish for the Crucians then you will have to fish light and sweetcorn seemed to work for me loose feed pellets and hemp little and often.

This fish seemed to really get on the feed when I fed small cubes of meat - which I don;t often like doing - but I was getting one a chuck late on when I did that.

Went and had a walk 'round this place today...looks very promising,plenty of movement in the lillys and a few carp basking on the top.Shall be fishing it on saturday...anyone else going?

I ve been on Huyton No 1 fishing pellet waggler on the top
Keep spraying a few 4.5mm pellets in for the F1s to 5lb
Cant fail to catch (famous last words)
Tip: Use a piece of rubber pellet cut to 4.5mm saves rebaiting the hook.
Feed in the margin and drop in for the last hour for bonus double figure fish.
