i was the bailiff at harwood anglers for 3 years and had loads of good days fishing there its good water in the wrong place fish mainly for tench biggest 7lb2oz best baits meat lob worm over pellets hemp best pegs are on the left as you look at it for any more info just ask

Can someone explain where abouts vale street of bury rd is . I live near a bury rd going past breightmet and on top Bury if that is the right rd.

Depending on which way you are coming from...

If coming up from Bolton town centre, go past Netto (left hand side) carry on past the petrol station (left hand side), and about 400 yards up the road you will see a chinese restaraunt.

You need to turn left straight after this. Go up to where the road will fork, left will take you down to the industrial units, straight on will take you up a dirt track just wide enough for a car. Carry straight on up the dirt track....

Go through all the pot holes (watch yer exhaust fella!!!) and you will see the lodge on the right hand side.

Hpe this helps...

I was up there a couple of weeks ago to have a butchers, its very weedy!!!, although there were two blokes racking out a channel to make a few pegs.

I've fished it once, a few months back, and was catching a rudd a chuck, all about 4oz

Just couldnt get through them unfortunately. Going to try again with some meat soon.....

Is this venue up bury road go past netto and home bargains and carry on past the garage on the left and there is a chinese on the right is this the road on the right running up past the chinese?

The chinese will be on yer left its called chinese delight, just passed the used car place. Don't confuse it with the take away on the opposite side....

The road is called Vale St.
