just bin getting told off my dad bream have bin comeing out off limey. double figures and tench up to 9 pound dont no how true it is but i would think it is true. going to have a ride down today on the bike see witch way they are getting on. more than likely they will be going over the railway way mite give it ago this weekend. because there are some very big carp in it to.

just got back from a ride to the limey saw 4 fish roll look like good fish to im going to give it ago this satday there one way off getting over and its the railway tracks if any one fancys it i be going early satday moring and going light. lol

not fished it for a while, used to do some nice fish,,,, as for big bream ive had a few bin lids out of the canal basin at the back,, as for big tench ive done fish to 7.12 from the limey, like i said not fished it since they blocked it off,, if i remember right there used to be a few old carp lumps in the place, but ive lost touch. ;)

ye bin blocket off mate but people have bin going over the train tracks and there was a good shole off carp in there see how it gose this satday.

last time i fished this place had a 17.12 mirror carp back in 97,can you still fish it?heard the water board got it and banned fishing,as the rights on the water changed?also read that some of the fish got moved to scotsmans(carp)did jimmy canty sell some of the stock?any info appreciated.

no some lads moved 7 carp so called and put them in scotsmans. no ur not aloud fish it but wigan AA are trying to get it i read it on there fourms. but you can still get on over the train tracks people have bin getting some big bream out it and tench the carp are still in there and if you had one at this size back in 97 imagin how big it is now got be in its 20s.

be good if wigan can get it,bet theres afew 20,s in there now,used to fish it for the pike aswell but didnt manage owt big,thanks for the info mate

no one fished it mate i bin down for a ride but its a bit dodge going over there but if you go mate you should catch them fish have hardley seen a hoook for years.
